Critics’ Week has launched development programme Next Step.

Aimed at the ten directors of the selected shorts at this year’s edition, the programme aims to support them in their transition to feature films. Created in collaboration with TorinoFilmLab, Next Step is supported by the CNC, the CCAS and the Moulin d’Andé-CÉCI.

It consists of a five-day workshop to be held in Paris in autumn, during which the film-makers will be able to discuss their projects with international experts and tutors.

Following the workshop, the Moulin d’Andé-CÉCI will offer them a writers’ residency lasting one month.
