Eduardo Echeverria has been promoted to executive vice president of Latin America for Fox International.
Echeverria will continue to oversee the theatrical distribution, sales and marketing operations for all Fox Filmed Entertainment product in the region. His promotion takes effect immediately.
'Having worked closely with Eduardo for the last six years, it is my pleasure to grant this promotion to someone so dedicated and well-deserving,' Fox International co-president Paul Hanneman said.
'Under Eduardo's direction, the Fox Latin America team has become the best in the business. Just last year, Fox was the top distributor in the region, earning over $300m. This remarkable achievement is due in large part to Eduardo, his talent and his leadership.'
'Eduardo's promotion reflects his invaluable contributions toward Fox International,' co-president Tomas Jegeus said. 'He and his team have demonstrated the breadth of their talent by developing powerful campaigns for every genre of film, from If I Were You to X-Men: The Last Stand.'

Echeverria has served as senior vice president of Fox Latin America since 2001 and prior to that he was managing director for Twentieth Century Fox Films in Mexico for five years.
