EXCLUSIVE: eOne inks a string of deals on psychological thriller from Atom Egoyan.
eOne has closed a string of EFM deals on Atom Egoyan’s thriller, Queen of the Night, which is currently shooting in Canada.
eOne has inked deals for Germany (Ascot Elite), Scandinavia (Scanbox), Russia (Luxor), China (HGC), Middle East, India, Turkey and Romania (Tanweer), Greece (Odeon), Switzerland (Ascot Elite), Portugal (Lusomundo), Poland (Monolith) and Former Yugoslavia (Discovery).
Ryan Reynolds, Scott Speedman, Rosario Dawson, Mireille Enos, and Bruce Greenwood star in Egoyan and David Fraser’s screenplay about the father of an abducted child who believes his daughter remains alive eight years after the kidnapping.
Shooting will move to Niagara Falls and Toronto next month. Egoyan, Simone Urdl, Jennifer Weiss and Stephen Traynor produce. eOne Films will distribute in Canada, ARP Selection in France.
The Sweet Hereafter director’s latest outing, Devil’s Knot starring Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth, is currently in post-production.
