He takes over from Andreas Degerhammar who is to become head of distribution at TriArt Film.

Jonas Holmberg has been appointed as the new head of international programme at the Göteborg International Film Festival.

He will take over from Andreas Degerhammar, who, after five years at the festival is moving on to TriArt Film where he takes up the post of head of distribution.

Since 2007 Jonas Holmberg has worked as chief editor for the Swedish film journal, FLM. He is also a regular columnist in the culture section of the nationwide newspaper Expressen. Previously he studied film at Stockholm University.
