Features from China, South Korea, Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam comprise the line-up as organisers of South Korea’s Busan International Film Festival’s spin-off prepare to get underway on Nov 11.

Chapman University’s Dodge College Of Film And Media Arts in Orange Country, California, will host the three-day event.

Three of the films make their North American premiere including Bong Joon-ho’s The Host 3D, South Korean animation feature Leafie, A Hen Into The Wild from Oh Seong-yun and Filipino drama Niño by Loy Arcenas.

Bong will also participate in an exclusive Busan West masterclass where he will discuss writing and directing with Dodge College students.

Feng Xiaogang’s Chinese drama AfterShock will close the event on Nov 13.
