Move follows sponsor rebranding.
Poland’s New Horizons International Film Festival will now be known as the T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival after the rebranding of its main sponsor.
The local mobile phone company was previously named Era, and hence hte festival had been known as Era New Horizons. Now Era is rebranded as T-Mobile.
The 12th edition of the festival will run July 19-29 in Wroclaw, and as previously reported will introduce a new industry event, Polish Days, from July 21-23.
Other plans for the 2012 festival include a focus on new Mexican cinema and retrospectives dedicated to Carlos Reygadas, Dusan Makavejev, Ulrich Seidl and Peter Tscherkassky.
