INFOGRAPHIC: The Hunting Ground and Me And Earl And The Dying Girl led the pack.
A look back at the social media buzz generated by this year’s Sundance Film Festival has revealed the top 10 ‘buzzed about’ films in Park City.
Compiled by Way To Blue, the figures revealed that Kirby Dick documentary The Hunting Ground – an expose of rape crimes on US campuses - sparked the most comment across Twitter, news, blogs and forums from Jan 22 to Feb 1.
It was closely followed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon’s Me And Earl And The Dying Girl, a drama about a teenage filmmaker who befriends a classmate with cancer, which won the US Grand Jury Prize at the festival.
The only other film to come close was Rick Famuyiwa’s comedy drama Dope, which was snapped up by Open Road for US release.
