Shooting is set to commence this summer on The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: Him and The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: Her to star Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy, who has replaced Joel Edgerton on the cast. Myriad Pictures represents sales rights and is in talks with buyers here.
Ned Benson will direct both films based on his separate screenplays that relate the male and female perspective of a New York couple who must deal with a life-altering experience. Cassandra Kulukundis is producing.
McAvoy will next be seen in a trio of crime stories – Danny Boyle’s Trance, Eran Creevy’s Welcome To The Punch and Jon S Baird’s Filth.
Chastain stars in competition entry Lawless and will next be see in Kathryn Bigelow’s Zero Dark Thirty.
