LA-basedKatapult Film Sales has taken on international rights to Larry Fessenden's $7msupernatural thriller The Last Winter, which stars Ron Perlman and is currently shooting inIceland.
The story is setin Northern Alaska, where an oil crew succumbs to a mysterious fear after oneof their team is found dead. James LeGros, Connie Britton and Kevin Corriganalso star.
Antidote Films'Jeff Levy-Hinte, whose credits include Thirteen, Laurel Canyon and High Art, is producing the project. which Fessendenco-wrote with Robert Leaver.
Katapult saleschief Thomas Mai said the project began to attract strong interest in Berlinand expects it to be ready by November.
Katapult is alsorepresenting Baltasar Kormakur's thriller A Little Trip To Heaven, which is in post production and hassold to A-Film in Benelux, Sandrew-Metronome in Scandinavia, Monopole-Pathe inSwitzerland, and Prime Pictures in the Middle East excluding Turkey and Israel.
The company'sslate includes Screaming Masterpiece, a documentary about Icelandic pop music featuring Bjorkand Sigur Ros that has sold to Avex for Japan.
