Moneyball director Bennett Miller will take part in an on-stage conversation in the Mar 17 event, presented in partnership with WGA East, the New York Television Festival and BookExpo America.

Miller will be joined at the screenwriter’s roundtable by Nobody Walks’ Ry Russo-Young, Bachelorette’s Leslye Headland, Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same’s Madeline Olnek and The Return’s Liza Johnson

“Now more than ever filmmakers have ample opportunities available to develop, create, and fund their latest projects,” IFP executive director Joana Vicente said. “But in this rapidly changing environment, writers and writer/directors still struggle to get their work seen, sold, and produced on multiple platforms.”

The event will kick off with a creative writing game led by comedians Ethan T Berlin and Eric Bryant and will end with a networking lunch.
