Senior Warner Bros Pictures International (WBPI) executive Monique Esclavissat is expanding her role and relocating from London to Burbank headquarters.
Esclavissat, who until now oversaw distribution in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is adding Latin America to her portfolio as executive vice-president, Europe and Latin America distribution.
“Monique is an outstanding executive who has dedicated the last decade to expanding and innovating our European operations,” WBPI president of distribution Veronika Kwan-Rubinek (pictured) said. “We are delighted that she will now be joining us at the home office to apply her creativity and expertise to our rapidly expanding Latin American markets.”
Esclavissat, fluent in several languages including French, English, Spanish and Italian, joined WBPI as vice-president of distribution in 1998 and moved through the ranks to become executive vice-president of European distribution in 2005.
Prior to Warner Bros she worked in London as vice-president of international sales and distribution at Castle Rock International and before that served as sales director at Mayfair Entertainment and as an economist at Daiwa Securities.
