Jeff Gomez and Katerina Cizek will speak at the fifth annual Cross-Media Forum, which will take place October 11-14.

The conference examines the latest trends in audience behaviour and new business models in the cross media and transmedia space, meaning an exploration of the future forms of storytelling and film as a consumer experience.

Speaking at the event will be several industry experts, including Jeff Gomez CEO Starlight Runner and Emmy award-winning director Katerina Cizek and Creative Director of ARTE France Cinéma, amongst others.

This is followed by the Pixel Market, a one-to-one marketplace which is geared toward financing cross-media projects from the world-over.

The 25 projects, selected from nearly 100 applicants, involve experimentation with new forms of storytelling through different and often more interactive media. This year they range from mobile, tablet, gaming and online narratives to installations and live events.

The selection is geared around nine projects which are finalists for the Pixel Pitch Competition offering a £9,000 grand prize, while the remaining 16 selected projects will still be able to meet prospective partners and financiers on a one-to-one basis.

Cross-Media Forum founder Liz Rosenthal said: “The Cross-Media Forum has built a global reputation to be the place where creators, financiers and entrepreneurs can discuss innovative ideas and business practices in a unique collaborative environment.”
