First title to be Jamaican boxing thriller Ghett’a Life produced by former boxer Lennox Lewis.

UK sales outfit Jinga Films has moved into UK distribution with Jamaican boxing thriller Ghett’a Life, associate-produced by former heavy weight boxing champion Lennox Lewis.

Chris Browne (Third World Cop) directs the thriller about an aspiring teenage boxer (played by newcomer Kevoy Burton) who finds himself up against a feared local crime lord.

“The film gives a fascinating insight into the relationship between politics and crime in Jamaica and has an inspiring against-the-odds story with a positive feel good ending” said Jinga sales & acquisitions executive Rosana Coutinho.

The film rolls out on 12 UK screens this weekend.
