Multi-year deal will give rights-holders VOD support.

International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) has signed a multi-year deal with video services provider Infostrada Creative Technology to provide VOD distribution support for rights-holders with films selected for IFFR.

The first films eligible for the joint venture, named TIGER RELEASE (TR), are those in Official Selection at IFFR 2015.

TR will provide filmmakers with access and delivery to established distribution platforms, and support for rights holders to directly release their films onto VoD platforms with marketing support offered via the IFFR branded VoD channels.

Infostrada will also be able to house films in Official Selection on their secure servers from where they can be transferred to international film festivals or create DCP’s at a reduced rate to be shipped on demand.
