Secret Identity Productions will handle the US theatrical release of Weather Girl, which plays this week at the Los Angeles Film Festival.

Blayne Weaver’s romantic comedy premiered at Slamdance.

Tricia O’Kelley stars as a Seattle TV weather presenter who loses her job because of a romance with her co-host (Mark Harmon). The cast also features Jon Cryer, Ryan Devlin, Jane Lynch, Kaitlin Olson and Patrick J Adams.

Secret Identity will launch the film theatrically starting July 10 at the Laemmle Sunset 5 in Los Angeles. Screen Media Films will handle the DVD and digital release. Weather Girl will also show on Lifetime TV in October 2009.
