Polish director Jacek Borcuch will start shooting his new film Lasting Moments (Chwile Nieulotne) on Sept 8 in Valencia, Spain.
After several weeks in Spain, the production will move to Krakow and Kwidzyn in October for the second part of the shoot. Principal photography will wrap in mid-November for a release in autumn 2012.
The story follows a pair of Polish students who meet during holidays in Spain, where reality interferes with their carefree time.
Jakub Gierszal, who also starred in Borcuch’s acclaimed All That I Love, will star alongside Magdalena Berus. The Spanish cast includes Angela Molina, and Juanjo Ballesta.
Manana’s Piotr Kobus and Agnieszka Drewno will produce. Co-producers are Espiral Producciones (Spain) and Kracow Festival Office, and is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute and the Regional Film Fund in Kracow with the support of the City of Kwidzyn.
