The short film about triplets who are separated at birth is being developed into a feature version.
Stephanie Zari’s short film Dawn, starring White Lightnin’ actor Edward Hogg, is to be made into a feature film.
According to Moving Pictures Media, the production company behind Dawn, the short will be used as a teaser for the feature, which is due to start filming next year.
Dawn follows the story of triplets who are separated at birth. With two of the surviving siblings on a quest to fill their sense of loss, a surprise on their 36th birthday helps to fill the missing bond.
Hogg, will star opposite Keeley Forsyth as the two surviving siblings. Producer and executive producer for the short are Isabella Battiston and Gi Fernando, respectively.
The short began filming on Oct 10 in Whitstable, Kent and is set to finish on Oct 15 and go straight into post-production.
The short is expected to be released in January at festivals. The feature could start filming by mid-2012 with a release in 2013.
