Rossum [pictured] could star along the previously announced Hilary Swank will star in Alcon Entertainment-based 2S Films’ drama.

Shana Feste and Jordan Roberts adapted Michelle Wilgden’s novel about a woman suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease and the aimless young woman who becomes her caregiver. George C Wolfe will direct.

2S Films’ Swank and partner Molly Smith are producing with Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan of Di Novi Pictures. Darryl Prince Productions is financing the project.

Swank and Smith’s previously worked with Alcon on Something Borrowed and P.S. I Love You.
