Knate Gwaltney’s story centres on a woman who pursues her son’s abductors following a shopping mall kidnapping.

William Brent Bell [pictured], who directed the 2006 horror film Stay Alive and the The Devil Inside, is expected to direct.

Matt Peterman is expected to produce the thriller alongside Lorenzo DiBonaventura and Automatik. IM Global chief Stuart Ford and Charles Layton are on board as executive producers.

Original Artists represented Gwaltney in the deal.

IM Global’s Hummingbird and Dead Man Down are scheduled to go into production early next year after recent AFM market launches.

Early 2012 will see the release of Bullet To The Head through Warner Bros and Safe through Lionsgate.
