Brian Cox and Natashca McElhone star in UK drama Theatre of Dreams.
UK and LA based sales company Intandem Films has boarded Theatre of Dreams, a family football drama shot in Manchester, starring Brian Cox and Natascha McElhone.
Set in 1984, the film follows the legendary Manchester United football manager Sir Matt Busby as he helps a wayward boy fulfill his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
David Scheinmann directs, producers are Manuela Noble, Justin Peyton, Ben Timlett of Bill and Ben Productions, in association with Wachafilm. Executive producers are Mark Sandell, Aurelio Landolt and Hanspeter Jaberg.
Intandem expects to launch the film at the Toronto Film Festival in September 2012.
