Logan Marshall-Green, Olivier Gourmet and Laura Carmichael have joined Madame Bovary, which commenced shooting on Monday (30) in Normandy, France.

Mia Wasikowska, Ezra Miller, Paul Giamatti, Rhys Ifans and Henry Lloyd-Hughes star in Occupant Entertainment’s adaptation of the Gustave Flaubert classic.

Radiant Films International handles sales outside the US. WME Global helped arrange financing and represents US rights.

Joe Neurauter and Felipe Marino produce in association with Aden Films’ Barthes and Aleph Motion Picture’s Jaime Mateus-Tique.

Prescience is financing the project and Tim Smith and Paul Brett serve as executive producers with Belgian’s SCOPE Pictures.

It was also announced that Germany’s A Company Filmed Entertainment will distribute across Eastern Europe and Vietnam in late 2014 through its distribution arms and partners.
