Icon has come aboard to co-finance the teen comedy with Filmnation. Alan Tudyk, Craig Roberts, Adam Riegler and Carlson Young have joined previously announced Katie Findlay and John Karna.
Worldwide sales agent FilmNation licensed rights in Cannes for France (Metropolitan), Germany (Square One), Australia and New Zealand (Village Roadshow), Italy (Eagle), the UK (StudioCanal), CIS (West), Latin America (Sun), Eastern Europe (Forum) and Greece (Spentzos).
Deals closed in Hong Kong (Edko), Taiwan (SSG), Singapore (Shaw), South Africa (Ster Kinekor), Indonesia (PT Amero), Philippines (Pioneer), Switzerland (Elite), Turkey (Aqua), Thailand (Sahamongkol), Iceland (Sam) and Israel (Lev).
Dan Beers is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Mathew Harawitz about a youngster poised to lose his virginity who must relive the same day until he gets it right.
FilmNation’s Aaron Ryder and Karen Lunder are producing while Len Blavatnik and Aviv Giladi serve as executive producers alongside FilmNation’s Glen Basner.
