The film will be the first English language feature to come out of Portugal’s Algarve region.

Shooting is underway in Portugal on The Right Juice, directed by Kristjan Knigge from a screenplay by David Butler-Cole.  

Shooting is taking place in the village of Silves and throughout the Algarve region, with plans to release in 2013.

Mark Killeen, Ellie Chidzey, Miguel Damião and Lúcia Moniz will star in the dramatic comedy about a man who leaves his life in the city to grow oranges on an old farm only to find that the land is barren.

Barbara Jane (BJ) Boulter is producing for Algarvian production company Fluxo Banal. The project is being backed by the Algarve Film Commission and Tourism Algarve.
