Vera Farmiga joins Sigma’s Greenland Time

Vera Farmiga is on board new psychological-thriller Greenland Time, which is being shopped in Cannes by Sigma producer Gillian Berrie.

Sigma is re-teaming with regular collaborator Zentropa on the Greenland-set psychological thriller about a woman out for revenge on the man who killed her daughter in a hit-and-run accident.

Marie Gade produces for Zentropa. Discussions are underway for the male role.

Writers David Newman and Catherine Linstrum make their feature directorial debuts on the project which was developed by the UK’s BFI/Film Agency for Wales. The latter has also committed production finance. The project is aiming for an October/November shoot.

Farmiga is represented by CAA and Authentic.
