EXCLUSIVE: Totonto’s Raven Banner Entertainment has picked up international sales on the alien sci-fi thriller from the writer of Pontypool.

XYZ Films represents US rights and Anchor Bay Entertainment will distribute in Canada.

Tony Burgess wrote the screenplay and Julian Richings, Lisa Houle and Adam Seybold star.

Ejecta follows two men who must escape a terrifying life-form that materialises after they witness an astronomical phenomenon.

Meanwhile, a secret intelligence agency intent on uncovering the truth also pursues the men.

Matt Wiele and Chad Archibald direct the film.

Michael Paszt and James Fler of Raven Banner negotiated the rights with Jesse T Cook and Matt Wiele of Foresight Features.

This marks the fourth time the companies will collaborate. “We are thrilled to continue the relationship we have built with the Foresight team over the years,” said managing partner Fler. “Canadian genre world domination, one film at time.”
