Company has extended its licence of 3D systems.
RealD Inc. has announced that it has extended its licence of 3D systems to Amalgamated Holdings Limited (AHL) and Village Cinemas.
The deal with AHL will see brands including Event, BCC Cinemas and Greater Union utilising RealD 3D Cinema Systems across 445 screens in Australia and New Zealand. The long-term partnership has been in place since 2009.
Meanwhile, the deal with Village Cinemas will see them utilise RealD 3D Cinema Systems across their screens in Australia with a long-term partnership that has been in place since 2009.
RealD is the world’s most widely used 3D cinema technology with approximately 26,000 auditoriums equipped with RealD 3D by around 1,000 exhibitors in 73 countries, as of Sept 30, 2014.
