Sales division of uMedia picks up international rights to Paul Andrew Williams’ film, starring Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell.
uConnect, the sales division of uMedia, has acquired international rights to Paul Andrew Williams’ Close Enough.
The film, which stars Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell, centres on renowned photojournalists Robert Capa and Gerda Taro who reinvented themselves after fleeing the Nazis and falling in love, forging a new life together in Paris in 1934.
uConnect’s Peter Rogers and Camera Entertainment’s Sim van Veen struck the deal.
Close Enough is produced by Camera Entertainment B.V., Kanzaman S.A. and Steel Mill Pictures. van Veen and Laurens Geels will produce the film with Ken Marshall, Denise O’Dell and Mark Albela as executive producers.
Rogers commented: “At heart, this is a great love story between two of the most engaging and fascinating icons of their era. Paul has brought them to life in the screenplay with a pitch perfect cast.”
