Software from Arts Alliance Media will manage Wanda Cinema Line’s cinema screens in its new build sites in China.
Wanda Cinema Line, a subsidiary of Dalian Wanda Group Corporation Ltd, has selected software from Arts Alliance Media (AAM) to manage cinema screens in its new build sites in China.
The deal was completed - with the support of Dolby - through AAM’s Chinese reseller partner ACE (Shanghai) Digital System Co Ltd, and follows AAM CEO Howard Kiedaisch’s recent trip to China as part of the UK government’s trade delegation, headed by Primer Minister David Cameron.
270 screens will be equipped with AAM’s theatre management system SCREENWRITER to manage their content, playlists and scheduling.

Jerry Ye, VP of Wanda Culture Group, commented: “Arts Alliance Media’s digital cinema software provides the power and reliability we need to service all our new screens. SCREENWRITER will help make our operations more efficient and accurate.”
“We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Wanda Cinema Line, and are very proud that an exhibitor of their size and reputation has selected AAM software to run their new digital cinema sites. It was also an honour to be part of the trade delegation to China - the Chinese cinema market is at a very exciting time, and we’re delighted to be there with such quality partners,” added Kiedaisch [pictured].
SCREENWRITER is currently deployed on around 20,000 cinema screens globally.
