THINKFilm International has taken on international sales rights (excluding Spain) to supernatural thriller The Appeared (Aparecidos).

THINKFilm will screen the film at next week's American Film Market.

Paco Cabezas wrote and directed the Argentina-set supernatural ghost story about a brother and sister who discover an old family diary that reveals past crimes and inspires present nightmares.

Ruth Diaz and Javier Pereira star in The Appeared.

Juan Gordon of Morena Films produced with the involvement of Jaleo Films, Oberon Cinematografica, Pensa&Rocca, Hepp Films, Film I Vast and NBC/Universal Spain.

The film premiered at the 40th Sitges International Film Festival earlier this month.
