Recorded Picture Company has promoted Alainee Kent to the role of senior development executive.
She will oversee all development responsibilities for the company and work across its slate, which includes upcoming films by David Cronenberg, Terry Gilliam, Vincenzo Natali and Phillip Noyce.
Australian-born Kent worked at the Director’s Guild of Great Britain for two years before joining RPC in spring 2005 in a development role.
Jeremy Thomas, the company’s founder said Kent has ‘great knowledge of cinema’ and she will work closely with him.
Kent added: ‘After four years in RPC development, I’mlooking forward to the challenges of my new role in a particularly exciting period for the company.’
RPC’s upcoming film Creation tells the story of Charles Darwin’s relationship with his eldest daughter.
