The Film Distributors’ Association’s inaugural UK Cinema Showcase will take place December 2-4 at Empire Leicester Square.

The media event will preview a selection of anticipated titles and offer press conferences with associated talent.

Previews at the Showcase include: David O Russell’s The Fighter; Andy De Emmony’s West is West; Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours, Rowan Joffe’s Brighton Rock, Michael Apted’s The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Richard J Lewis’s Barney’s Version.

The event’s first two days are expected to draw 100 national and regional film journalists, while the Saturday will be given over to approximately 1,000 film bloggers.

On the evening of Dec 2 there will be an industry reception for delegates at BAFTA.
