The Circle Conference 2009, a development initiative aimed at creating new filmmaking opportunities in the Middle East, is looking for applicants.
Producers, financiers, executives and filmmakers from around the world are invited to meet in Abu Dhabi and share their knowledge.
The programme includes panel discussions on subjects such as women in film, documentary production, natural history filmmaking. It also features collaboration lunches as well as location filming workshops aimed at promoting Abu Dhabi’s various opportunities.
The conference will take place from October 9 to 11 in line with The Middle East International Film Festival in Abu Dhabi. Entries will be accepted until September 15.

Among those attending The Circle Conference last year were director Spike Lee, film and television producer and director McG and actor, producer and director Antonio Banderas.
