Aardman has teamed up with film download website Atom Films to launch a series of exclusive animated shorts.
The Oscar-winning UK production company behind Wallace and Gromit has delved into its archive and created a series of Pib and Pog shorts.
The series, which features two kids TV characters who look cute but in reality are anything but, is based on the on a short film originally created by Aardman and Oscar-nominated director Peter Peake in 1994. Peake returned to direct the online series.
Aardman has worked with Atom Films since 1999 when the company released Creature Comforts on its website. This was followed by Humdrum, Adam and the massive online success story Angry Kid.
Atom Films vice president of acquisitions and productions Megan O'Neill said: 'I've been a fan of Peter Peake's work for years, including Humdrum and the original Pib and Pog short.'
AtomFilms will release three episodes of Pib and Pog for free online today, with more episodes to follow over the next few weeks.
The original Pib and Pog short film is also available at the same address.
The shorts will also be available through Atom Films channels on Verizon mobile and XBox Live.
