The group will advance to the nomination stage when short films and feature animation branch members will select three to five titles.

Branch screenings will take place in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco in January. One hundred and seven films qualified for the category.

Nominees will be announced on Jan 24 and the 84th Annual Academy Awards are scheduled to take place on Feb 26, 2012.
