Rango wins best animated feature.

At the ACE Eddie Awards for film editing on Saturday, The Descendants won the award for Best Edited Feature Film (Drama), while Best Edited Feature FIlm (Comedy or Musical) went to The Artist.

Rango won for animated feature and Freedom Riders for documentary.

As previously reported, The Descendants director Alexander Payne was given the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award, while Joel Cox and Doug Ibold received lifetime achievement awards.

Patton Oswalt hosted the event.
