American Cinema International (ACI) has secured the double set of most recent Polish Brothers films as it emerged that the LA-based company has added Smell Of Successto a roster that already features Stay Coolheading into AFM.
ACI has acquired worldwide rights to the Initiate Productions comedy about the high-stakes manure sales business in the 1960s MidWest.
Michael and Mark Polish wrote and directed the film, which premiered at Sundance under its former title Manure and stars Billy Bob Thornton, Tea Leoni, Ed Helms, Kyle MacLachlan and Mark Polish.
Janet Dubois, Ken Johnson and Jonathan Sheldon served as producers
Cindy Bond brought Smell Of Success to ACI and is a partner in Mission Pictures, the faith and family distribution company she runs jointly with ACI president Chevonne O’Shaughnessy.
