Steve McQueen, Annette Bening and a round table of emerging stars including Dane DeHaan are the focus of the AFI FEST Conversations programme.
McQueen, whose latest film 12 Years A Slave is one of the leading awards contenders this season, will take part in an on-stage talk about directing. The session is scheduled for November 10 at the TCL Chinese Theatre.
The Spotlight On Annette Bening will take place on November 12 at the Egyptian Theatre. Bening will talk about career highlights plus her latest role in Arie Posen’s The Face Of Love.
The Los Angeles Times Young Hollywood Roundtable in association with EPIX will feature DeHaan, Greta Gerwig, Michael B Jordan, Brie Larson and Miles Teller on November 8 at the TCL Chinese 6.
Guests scheduled to attend the festival include guest artistic director Agnès Varda and Bernardo Bertolucci, Asghar Farhadi, Drake Doremus, Sebastián Lelio, Hany Abu-Assad, Hirokazu Kore-eda and Eli Roth.
AFI FEST is set to run from November 7-14.
