Eric McCormack and Robert Patrick star in the story of a benevolent alien that inhabits the body of a Californian astronomer in the hopes of saving Earth after his ship crashes and unleashes a murderous creature. Jenni Baird and Dan Lauri round out the key cast.
The film premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in January and is based on a screenplay by Steven Fisher from a story Fisher co-wrote with James Swift. Swift and Goodwin produced.
Roadside Attractions is handling the US release of the film.
'RW has crafted a great, modern edition of the old science-fiction movies of the post-war boom period, when the US was filled with great hope and prosperity while living under the hype and fear of some vaguely distinguishable enemies,' The Little Film Company co-president Robbie Little said.
'Any similarities between then and now - well, the audience can decide if they are intended or not!'
