Erik Van Looy'spsychological thriller has been chosen as one of the quota of 20 westernfeatures that the Chinese Government has passed for release this year. The dealwas negotiated with Hong Kong distributor Domo Media and China Film by UK-basedsales agent, The Works.
The Chinese Censorship Boardhas already approved the film. This is the first Belgian film to be sold toChina.
Sony Pictures Classics willbe releasing the film in the US in August. Focus Features has bought US remake rights.
The film, an Antwerp-basedthriller about an assassin with failing memory, has been sold all over theworld. Jan Decleir (star of Dutch Oscar winner Character) plays the lead role.
