Los Angeles-based American World Pictures will introduce buyers in Cannes to the thrillerMagic Man starring Billy Zane, Armand Assante and newcomer Estelle Raskin.

Zane plays a Las Vegas magician whose past arouses the suspicion of a young woman visiting town for the weekend.

Things heat up when one by one the woman’s friends are found murdered. Robert Davi, Bai Ling and Alexander Nevsky round out the key cast.

Stuart Cooper directed the film, which screens in the market on May 13.
