The deal was negotiated by David Koh and Lilly Bright on behalf of Arthouse Films and Curiously Bright Entertainment and Mark Kashden on behalf of New Video Group.
Films will be available for $9.99 each in the US and music videos and short films are priced at $1.99 each in the US.
Koh and Bright said the iTunes store was a 'great home for our films, film-makers and producers.'
'We're thrilled about partnering with Arthouse Films to make their extensive and important library available to the digital marketplace,' Kashden, senior vice president of acquisitions at digital aggregator New Video said.
The Arthouse catalogue includes: Black White + Gray: A Portrait Of Sam Wagstaff And Robert Mapplethorpe, Obscene: A Portrait Of Barney Rosset and Painters Painting: New York School: 1940-1970, among others.
