Nathan McGuinness has been appointed as creative director of visual effects company Double Negative’s Singapore operation.
The founder of Asylum VFX, McGuinness has been based in LA for 13 years, where his most recent projects include Unstoppable,The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, for which he won a BAFTA for Best Visual Effects in 2009.
London based VFX company Double Negative opened its Singaporean operation in 2009. The outfit is currently working on John Carter of Mars, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Captain America: The First Avenger and Paul.
McGuinness’s new role will still see him maintaining a regular presence in L.A.
