The Hollywood Foreign Press Association will announce its nominations on December 12.
As previously reported, the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place on January 8, 2017.
The deadline for film and television submissions is October 31, while the nomination ballots must be sent out by November 25 and returned no later than December 9.
Final ballots must be sent out by December 19 and returned by January 4, 2017.

Nov 25, 2016: Deadline for nomination ballots to be mailed to all HFPA members by Ernst & Young.
Dec 5, 2016: Final screening date for Motion Pictures.
Dec 7, 2016: Final date for Motion Picture press conferences.
Dec 9, 2016: Deadline for receipt of nomination ballots by Ernst & Young, at 10 a.m.
Dec 12, 2016: Announcement of nominations for the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards at 5:00am PST (8:00am EST).
Dec 19, 2016: Final ballots mailed to all HFPA members.
Jan 4, 2017: Deadline for receipt of all final ballots by Ernst & Young, at 5 p.m.
