The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) has announced its nominees for The 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards and once again 12 Years A Slave and American Hustle have emerged as the favourites.
The winners will be announced at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards ceremony on January 16 2014 in Santa Monica, California.
12 Years A Slave and American Hustle tied with 13 nods apiece followed by Gravity on 10, while The Wolf Of Wall Street, Her, Captain Phillips and Nebraska each earned six.
“Everyone acknowledges that 2013 has been a truly great year for films so our Critics’ Choice Movie Awards voters had an embarrassment of riches to choose from,” said BFCA president Joey Berlin.
