Dominique Abel, Fiona Gordon and Bruno Romy' s Rumba won the main prize and $6,250 (Euros 5,000) at the sixth Zagreb Film Festival, which ran from October 18-25.
This is the directing trio's second win at Zagreb after Iceberg in 2005. Special mention went to Mexican Rodrigo Pia's The Desert Within, and Cheese! by Huseyin Tabak from Austria won the best short film award worth $1,872 (Euros 1,500).
Best documentary prize went to German-Chinese The Red Race by Chao Gan. In the Checkered programme, comprised of short films by young Croatian directors, Marin Juranic and Hana Vecek's Bad Day For Captain Hook received the $1,250 (Euros 1,000) prize.
