Belgrade-based distributor Megacom Film has acquired rights to a raft of Cannes competition winners including Michael Haneke’s Palme d’Or winner, The White Ribbon, for Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

It has also picked Lou Ye’s Spring Fever, which picked up the award for best script, Lars Von Trier’s Antichrist, for which Charlotte Gainsbourg won best actress, and Andrea Arnold’s Fish Tank, which shared the Jury Prize with with Park Chan Wook’s Thirst). It has also acquired Wild Grass, directed by Alain Resnais, who won a Lifetime achievement award.

Megacom is the youngest distributor in the former Yugoslavia and best known for distribution of high-profile art house films. It is also runs the Belgrade Festival of Auteur Film.
