Also sitting on the Orange Rising Star Award jury will be A Single Man director Tom Ford.

Ben Drew (aka Plan B) has joined the jury for the 2011 Bafta Orange Rising Star Award.

The British rap star/actor/director, who has just finished shooting his first feature, Ill Manors, said it was a “huge honour” to be chosen.

Also joining him on the jury will be A Single Man director Tom Ford, actors Peter Sarsgaard and Natasha McElhone, director Mike Newell and producer Finola Dwyer who will act as chair. The jury will choose an intitial longlist of 8 contenders for the award before going on to be voted for by the public.

The winner of last year’s Rising Star Award was Twilight actress Kristen Stewart.

Voting opens when the nominees are announced on 10 January 2011.
