Susan Bender has beenappointed to the new post of president of sales at Harmony Gold USA as thecompany makes a concerted bid to expand its worldwide sales activities.

Effective Jan 23, Bender will oversee all domestic and international sales andspearhead strategic development with the existing sales team, which includesvice president of sales Melissa Wohl and executive vice president of businessdevelopment Alan Letz.

"We've achieved significant success in the sales and development arenas overthe past two decades and now, as we enter into our 23rd year, we are pleased tohave someone with Susan's skills and expertise take us to the next level,"Harmony Gold USA president Colleen Morris, to whom Bender will report, said.

Bender most recently served as vice president of Latin American sales atParamount International Television. Prior to that she spent 13 years atMetromedia Producers Corporation as director of worldwide contractadministration and later as executive director of international sales for Metromedia'scatalogue.
