Bac delivers 'A Bun In The Oven' to Germany, Benelux

French sales company Bac Films has secured sales on high-concept picture A Bun In The Oven, starring Karin Viard (Delicatessen) as a middle-aged woman who discovers she is pregnant. 

The film, which is in post-production, has sold to Germany (Wild Bunch), Benelux (Cinéart) and Switzerland (Impuls Pictures).

“We’ve had a lot of interest purely on the basis of the script,” said Bac sales chief Gilles Sousa who has new images of the film at EFM.

In other deals, Sousa also reported sales on Nicolas Pariser’s political thriller thriller The Great Game to the US (Distrib Films), Benelux (Athena). The film will screen in Unifrance’s Rendez-vous with French Cinema in New York in March.
