The Diary from Bille August is one of 22 projects chosen for the official selection of Berlin's 6th co-production market.

The final list of projects selected also includes Mary's Ride from Thomas Imbach; The Ardor from Pablo Fendrik andThe Book Of Internal Grammar from Nir Bergman.

Eligible projects have budgets ranging from $1.3 (Euros 1m) to $13 (Euros 10m) and must have at least 30% of financing already be in place

In addition, four projects will be presented as part of the Rotterdam-Berlinale Express, in collaboration with Rotterdam's Cinemart.

They include Norwegian director Erik Skjoldbjaerg's Pioneer and French director Leila Kilani's On The Plank.

For the Talent Project Market, an international jury has selected 10 promising newcomer projects to be pitched. The Talent Project Market is organised in conjunction with the Berlinale Talent Campus.

The 10 projects include Faith (Fe) by Guatemalan filmmaker Alejo Crisostomo who previously attended the Talent Campus in 2005 and is now returning to Berlin with his feature debut.

To date, 70 of the films presented at the previous five editions of the co-production market have been realised.

They include Ole Christian Madsen's Flame & Citron; Eran Riklis's Lemon Tree; Sergei Bodrov's Mongol; Khalil Joreige and Joana Hadjithomas's A Perfect Day; Luigi Falorni's Heart Of Fire; Srdjan Koljevic's The Woman With a Broken Nose; and Ineke Smits' The Aviatrix Of Kazbek.

The Berlinale's co-production market will be held from February 8-10 at the Berlin House of Representatives, opposite the European Film Market's Martin Gropius Bau venue.
